Part two of our class explored the housing at the edge of the Los Angeles down town area known as China Town


	Our class will use the Weissenhofsiedlung exhibit as a model of working in teams to develop architectural designs for L/H 1.


		A 3rd year Design Studio at the Woodbury University Department of Architecture will study housing in the Los Angeles area as a way of providing a design model for a housing type. Reviews of projects and juries will be posted here as the studio work is completed

	What is the roll of the Architect in the development of housing in the Los Angeles area? What does it mean to build in the context of our industrial and material base of the building industry in 1998? What transformation takes place as a house becomes a home?
