Cameron Crockett
Cameron Crockett has spent twelve years in the exploration of the “computer collaborative aesthetic”. He managed the development of computer design processes at Morphosis in Santa Monica and has continued to assist in the development of software vehicles such as Form z, and Electric Image, as applies to architecture. He is currently a member of the UCLA faculty, teaching a 3d visulization course to professional architects and interior designers at the campus in Santa Monica. Mr. Crockett has created the previsualization of builidngs for award winning projects completed by industry leaders such as Morphosis, Dworsky, Leo Daly, Roto, Steve Ehrlich and Barton. He has also used his extensive 3d capability to create cutting edge material for various interactive environments represented by companies such as Dreamworks Interactive, Pulse Entertainment, Toy Feet Productions, AND Interactive, Studio Surge, and Boxtop. Most notably, Mr. Crockett was responsible for the design and construction of a reisdence in Topanga Canyon, as well as design of “non-nuclear” residence as depicted in the Global Architecture Magazine, Form z Catalog, and Electric Image Gallery. His innovative techniques have expanded the possibilities for collaboration between computerized and traditional architectural processes.
