Edmund M. Einy
Edmund M. Einy is one of Southern California’s leading young architects and planning professionals. He is a registered architect in the state of California.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mr. Einy grew up watching the development and high urbanization of Los Angeles and the San Fernando basin. Mr. Einy is influenced by his native land Los Angeles. Here, architecture of the mid-century period, architecture that sought not to emulate but to embed itself in and coexist with its natural surroundings and climate. The growth and diversity of Los Angeles he feels makes this region unique among the great cities of the world.
Mr. Einy received his Master of Architecture from the University of California at Los Angeles with study at the Architectural Association in England and a Bachelors of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. His experience includes having worked in the office of Johnson, Fain and Pereira, Stone Marraccini Patterson, and Design Director at the Los Angeles office of Nikken Sekkei. Currently, Mr. Einy is the senior design architect at Lee, Burkhart Liu, Inc.
As an active member of the American Institute of Architects, and a visiting critic at the University of Southern California and the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Mr. Einy’s ultimate goal is to educate the public on the physical and emotional value of our environment.
Edmund M. Einy’s work has been featured in nationally and internationally distributed publications and exhibits. A recipient of numerous LA/AIA and SFV/AIA honor and citation awards. He is a representative of the Los Angeles Chapter AIA “100 Los Angeles Architects”
