I strive for "stillness" through simplicity, height, varied qualities of light, forms defined by color. I work with architectural and spatial forms without trying to adhere to historical conventions.

I want buildings to have an overwhelming presence both inside and out -- so that the form becomes a vision of mass, void, and light.
