Paul Danna

Paul Danna, AIA, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where both of his parents are architects. He went on to graduate with distinction from the University of Michigan and then interned at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies. Paul received his Master’s Degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. While at Harvard, Paul was awarded the James Templeton Kelly Prize, one of Harvard’s highest honors for architectural design and the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Traveling Fellowship for architectural design excellence.

Paul’s outstanding achievements lead to opportunities to work with various nationally renowned firms, among them, Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, I.M. Pei & Partners, Krueck & Olsen, Machado-Silvetti and DMJM/Keating, where he directed the design of the studio. After nearly two decades, he returned to Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum’s Los Angeles office as Director of Design last year.

Paul lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
